Heaven by Health is honored and humbled to begin its 2016 season of Got Health? Second Saturday Wellness Talks with an inspirational journey of health and the power of faith as shared by Nicole V. Brey, MD.  Dr Brey is a board certified dermatologist specializing in general dermatology, aesthetics, and skin care.  She is a summa cum laude graduate of both Western Kentucky University and the University of Louisville School of Medicine where she earned a Bachelors of Science degree in biology and chemistry and a Doctor of Medicine degree, respectively.

Dr. Brey is the recipient of numerous awards and honors and her research has been published in the Archives of Dermatology, Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, and Dermatitis.  She began practicing medicine in Nashville,TN before returning to her hometown of Owensboro in 2009.  She is the managing partner of Advanced Dermatology Associates and B La Vie MD, a skin care company founded to honor cancer patients and their families.  As a breast cancer survivor herself, Dr. Brey’s heartfelt and passionate testimony about her journey and desire to give back will inspire all in attendance.  She is a powerful example of forgetting what is behind and reaching to what lies ahead.

 She is married to Dr. David Brey, a rheumatologist with Owensboro Health and enjoys spending time with her family and three beagles.
